Nip cough and colds in the bud! Using organic essential oils and carrier oil.

My daughter came back home with runny nose and a cough after a sleepover. Essential oils to the rescue!

Essential oils used:

Organic Tea tree - a powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal.

Organic Peppermint  - clears respiratory tract. It also cooling to combat the effects of weather in this hot and humid season.

Organic Lavender - a mild antibacterial and antifungal, that also relaxes and soothes the body of a good night's sleep. Sleep also promotes healing.

Organic Rosemary - it's penetrating vapors clear the airways and is a powerful decongestant.

I used Organic Argan Oil as carrier. Organic Argan Oil goes on really smooth! Ideal for massage, especially for children.

My recipe:

2 ml (40 drops) Organic Argan Oil

2 drops Organic Tea tree Oil

5 drops Organic Lavender Oil

2 drops Organic Peppermint Oil (omit in winter, use 1 drop of Organic Clove Bud Oil instead)

3 drops Organic Rosemary Oil

Mix well. Massage on chest, throat, back, and soles of the feet. Your child will suddenly get a lot of mucus discharge (due to Rosemary Oil's decongestant effect) so get a box of tissue handy. After this, your child will sleep so well.
