Essential Oils for the Workplace and Why You Need Them (Part 4)

On our previous blogs of the Essential Oils for the Workplace series, we've tackled how to combat emotional aspects of workplace fatigue, getting happier and more productive employees, and preventing the spread of flu in the office using essential oils. If you're not yet convinced that 100% organic pure essential oils are well worth your hard-earned money, then read on because we're going to share remedies for physical symptoms of workplace fatigue. We're also sharing essential oil recipes that will surely keep you looking your best!
HoPE Essential Oils for Headache
Headaches
Does stress cause you constant headaches or tiredness triggers them? Either way, a lot of people tend to reach in to their medicine cabinets and pop pain relievers. Pain relievers offer relief for occasional headaches. But if you take them more than a couple of days a week, they may trigger rebound headaches. The worst part is they may cause damage to your liver and kidneys. A bottle of essential oils may seem more expensive than a tablet of pain reliever, but they offer safe, fast, and long-lasting relief from headaches. Plus, a drop of essential oil goes a long way.

Top essential oils for headaches:
For diffuser: Add 5 drops of lavender oil and 5 drops of peppermint oil for every 500 ml of water
For direct inhalation: We recommend keeping a small bottle of the following oils, open them up and sniff whenever needed.
  • Rosemary for headaches triggered by stress
  • Peppermint for tension headaches
  • Lavender for migraine and tension headaches. It also has a calming effect, so it is great for stress-related headaches too
  • Eucalyptus for headaches caused by sinus congestion.
For topical application: A drop of lavender oil can be used to massage the temples, forehead and back of the neck. Other oils are too strong for this, so you must dilute them in carrier oils such as rosehipargan, almond, and coconut oil. Remember to use 5 drops of essential oil every 5 ml of carrier oil. You may keep your diluted oils in a roller bottle for easier application.

Top Essential Oils for aches and pains:
