HoPE Different Ways You Can Use Essential Oils

If you want to make the most out of your essential oil or if you want to do everything you can to make sure that you are using them in more ways than one then there are a couple of things that you can do about this. The first thing that you can do is make sure that you are aware of the different ways that you can use essential oils, some of which can be found below!
Bath
Did you know that you can use essential oils in the bath? You can use them for therapy and you can also use them on your skin as well, but it helps to make sure that you are not using an oil that is sensitive on the skin or one that irritates the skin either. If you want to try to get the most out of your oil then all you have to do is dilute one tablespoon in vegetable oil or even half a cup of milk. This may sound strange, but milk is a great emulsifier and it can really help you to disperse the aroma around. When running your bath make sure that you don’t add more than 8 drops at a time as this could overpower your bath. You also need to keep the bathroom door closed as this will help to disperse the oil well.
Chest Rub
A lot of oils have a clearing effect. This means that it can really support the respiratory system. If you want to get an idea of which oils can be used here then make sure that you look out for rosemary oil, eucalyptus oil and lavender oil. To make a chest rub, mix between 10 and 20 drops of oil with a carrier oil before you apply it to your chest. You can even use a compress with this if you want, just make sure that you warm up the cloth slightly before you apply it to the area.
Diffusers
Diffusers are one of the best ways for you to use carrier oils. Just add a cup or two of water and a few drops of carrier oil or favorite essential oils to your diffuser and turn it on. This is a great way to purify a room and get rid of nasty odors. This is one of the best ways for you to take advantage of everything that oils have to offer and you can even have them running as long as you want.
Direct Application
Do you have a cut, infection or anything else of the sort? Maybe you just want something that will help you to heal faster. Either way, a direct application of lavender oil will certainly do the trick. Simply mix the droplets with a little bit of carrier oil, before you apply them to the affected area. This is one of the best ways for you to give your body the natural help it needs!
