Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils and "carry" the essential oils to penetrate our skin. Carrier oils are typically plant-based.

Each carrier oil has it's own therapeutic properties. Some oils can be used  up to 100%, some oils have to be used with other oils to form a base oil for optimum benefit.
